Finding great PR advice for your travel business is relatively easy: a Google search offers up lots of capable professionals. That is, assuming you are a B2C travel brand.
But if you’re a B2B travel brand? Sadly if your client is not the end traveller, finding PR advisors is a lot more challenging.
Over a ten-year period I worked at two of the industry’s biggest B2B travel bands: on the airline side at Amadeus; and on the accommodation side at Hotelbeds.
I found it difficult to find PR consultancies – or, to be totally frank, more than a handful of freelancers – who truly understood the B2B side of travel.
Many PR agencies can do fantastic work in promoting to the end consumer. But who do you turn to if you want to do more than simply see your brand mentioned in lifestyle media?
B2B travel companies – not just travel tech providers, but TMCs, ground handlers, consortia, bedbanks, DMCs and many more – need to take their communications just as, if not more, seriously as their B2C counterparts.
This is because when a handful of important people can decide the fate of your organization, you need to ensure messaging is pitch-perfect.
All of this is why I founded Belvera Partners: to respond to what I see as a very important and urgent need for the sector.
If your travel stakeholders are anything but the end traveller and you want to find the most relevant way to tell your story, we’d love to hear from you today.
